On 13 April 2022 Van Lanschot Kempen and the Feather Foundation entered into a partnership. This way, we contribute to the connection between current ‘shapers of society’ and future leaders. 

Board member of Van Lanschot Kempen Richard Bruens: ‘As a wealth manager we focus on preserving and creating wealth sustainably for our clients and the society we serve. In this partnership we would like to support intergenerational meetings to contribute to public debate which is now more important than ever, due to societal challenges that we face, for example, sustainability, diversity, inclusion and tolerance.’

The Feather Foundation is an annual two-day thematic symposium that occurs in Leiden. There are 500 participants, 250 of which are from Dutch and Flemish universities and colleges. 250 are ‘shapers of society’, who already work in different areas, such as business, science, arts, culture, politics and sports. The symposium offers a platform where young, ambitious students can meet these shapers of society and vice versa. Due to the professional level of speakers, participants and society shapers this meeting is a source of energy and inspiration.
