Since 2018, Van Lanschot Kempen has sponsored Amsterdam’s iconic concert hall: the Royal Concertgebouw. Its mission – to connect and enrich people with an unparalleled musical experience – aligns with our own ambition to contribute to the preservation and creation of our cultural heritage. There are many ways in which we support the Royal Concertgebouw in making classical music and concerts more accessible to the people in our community.
Concertgebouw Young Talent Award for Leonkoro Quartet
The Leonkoro Quartet has won the Concertgebouw Young Talent Award 2024. The string quartet from Germany made such a debut impression in the Recital Hall in September 2023 that there was no doubt for the management of the Concertgebouw. The Royal Concertgebouw’s Young Talent Award is presented every 18 months to an up-and-coming talent – and we provide both the award and a scholarship.
Fantastic milestones
In September 2023, we celebrated two fantastic milestones with our clients and relations: our five-year partnership with The Concertgebouw, and that Van Lanschot is now continuing as Van Lanschot Kempen: one strong brand with all the expertise in the field of wealth management.
All the more reason to transform the Great Hall in The Concertgebouw into a large dance floor and invite our next generation of clients for a performance by Kris Kross Amsterdam, who turned the event into one big party.

Empty Concertgebouw Sessions
In times of crisis, music can soothe the soul. When the Royal Concertgebouw was closed during covid lockdown, the empty Great Hall was home to digital concerts by both established performers and new talents.
